Here we are nearly to the end of March and I made all that noise about getting started early on Spring and Easter decor..and my crates have not been touched...
Well, actually I "touched" them today, but that's as far as I got.
This sweet cookie jar Mommy Bunny is something I found on Ebay and I think she and her little family are adorable.
I really AM trying to get in the swing of things..but keep dawdling. Even my silver needs a good polishing and I keep putting it off. This mommy bunny is by Fitz and Floyd.
I did work at getting the dining room table set up....a bit. Due to circumstances, I don't think I will be going "all out" this year..but I will do a bit. It's something I love to do and I miss not feeling like doing it.
You know? If you know me well, you know I never do anything "a bit."
So anyway...don't you think she is a cutie?? Yeah. Me too!! :)
My love to you,
Mona
P.S I never wait until I get everything done and presentable...I always get in such a rush to share!
*Sheesh!!*
Oh Mona, I love the cookie jar, she is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI unpacked one Easter/Spring crate and most of it is sitting on my dinning room table. Shame on me.
I just can't get into the swing of anything. I need a good kick in the pants LOL Maybe a few days before Easter I will finish it.
Hope you are feeling better since you bout of stomach virus.
Have a great Spring weekend.
Hugs
Mary

ReplyDeleteAs You know by now I'm not a big fan of bunnies, I know hoiw bad they bite :-) :-) :-) But I have to admit that this one is very fine!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Christer.
HI Ya Mona - What a beauty of a bunny with her babies. I know there is not an occasion that goes by that you do have something to decorate with. It looks lovely sitting on top of the lace. Bunnies, eh, we're still waiting for all the snow to disappear. More snow yesterday and more expected over the next 5 days. Winter certainly came in like a lion and its going out like a real angry lion. Can you get Mirror Guy to hold that big mirror up and reflect the heat rays from your California SUN towards us to help melt the snow. Tell him I said "Thanks a bunch". he,he Hope you are feeling better from your "bout with stomach virus". Take care, n hi to PH :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that bunny family:) Great start to your Spring and Easter decorating! I haven't gotten mine out yet! Have a blessed and beautiful day dear Mona, HUGS!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a fabulous piece, I love it and such a wonderful centerpiece. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteMona, The cookie jar is so beautiful , you don't need anything more.:) I find myself lagging on doing much decorating. I too bust "thinking" of all the other things that need done. LOL. Blessed Sunday to you, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful bunny cookie jar. It's probably the nicest one I've seen. I haven't done much to decorate for the holiday either. I think all this snow has gotten me down. Maybe when I see some grass and flowers I will feel more like it. Don't worry about decorating. You've been sick. And if I know you, you will be all decorated in plenty of time.
ReplyDeletehey, you've done more than i have!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, she is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat more do you need????
So pretty and looks perfect as a centerpiece! Happy Sunday to you!
ReplyDeleteI have a weakness for good jars.

ReplyDeleteawww, she and her little family are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteI don't decorate for Easter very much..a vase of fresh flowers and a little bunny or two and that's it...
Happy Spring, dear one.

Awe that is sooooooooooooo cute - the bunny cookie jar - I bet your home is gorgeous for Easter. The best holiday in the year or the most important!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find, Mona! And yes, do what makes you happy!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteoh that is a beauty!!
ReplyDeleteMona - I LOVE that piece. It looks like a Fitz and Floyd piece. It is just GORGEOUS. I am not a "little bit" kind of person either but I have had to do that a few times in the last couple of years with everything going on. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThe cookie jar is so beautiful. Easter is late this year so you still have plenty of time to decorate or to not decorate. Just enjoy the warm temps for us up north. HUGS
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect springtime centerpiece for your table. Love the bunny family.
ReplyDeleteLove your bunny cookie jar! Fitz and Floyd have made some wonderful pieces, haven't they? I'm the same way about getting excited -- I start taking pictures, and then realize something needs to be ironed!
ReplyDeleteLove the bunny cookie jar. I just got a few things out over the weekend..will have to finish soon. I love Easter and I just wish the snow would stop and let Spring come in!
ReplyDeleteMona, that bunny jar would be great filed with lots of chocolates. I don't decorate for Easter, so it's nice that you share your favorites with all of us.
ReplyDeleteMona the cookie jar is wonderful! I just love china rabbits! What a little treasure you have found. I doubt that your table will be lacking for anything. After all Easter is not here yet...plenty more time. Have a wonderful day!
