~ANTICIPATION......~

I think that is the state most of us are in while waiting for Spring!  All sorts of signs of it...the Hummingbirds are searching for places to nest and already I see the gathering of bits of flotsum and twigs going on.

Please click on photo to see the pretty view we have out our window now..
We have hung these hanging baskets in front of our diningroom end of our family room...and little Humming birds have been checking it out.  These were transferred here from the front porch...
Helps hide the roof of the home behind us.  That's Southern California for you!  Rooftops everywhere!

Until tomorrow...have a wonderful Sunday!
Love and hugs,
Mona

P.S. Tomorrow is garage sale finds!!  What a day! :)

  3. Hi, Mona!
You mention hummingbirds. I set out two feeders a couple of days ago. We've had a couple of "visitors", but I am sure that soon we'll have more.
You would have loved the RED cardinals at the deer lease this weekend. They were everywhere. Bluebonnets are starting to come up... so there are two of your favorite colors: red and blue!
Have a wonderful week, dear friend.

  4. Mona, I came over from Cheri's Chatter. Since I'm from Whispering Pines, I thought I'd see what your Wspr's were all about! Very nice blog and a fun stop for me. Cute family pics on the sidebar and thanks for the lovely view..I'm glad someone is having spring weather! Hanging baskets won't happen here until May! Now I feel like I've had a quick vacation!

  6. The humming birds come much later to Tennessee Mona and never to my home in England. The first one I ever saw was in 2006. Aren't they pretty? and so is your view from the window.

  10. No hummers here yet. We have had mixed precip today and the high is only suppose to reach 40. We sprung forward but Spring didn't follow.

God bless and have a marvelous Monday sweetie!!!

  11. I wish we had hummingbirds in this country, they always seem so magical! I feel disloyal now to all the little birdies in my garden! Your hanging baskets are beautiful, want to see more! xx

  12. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and commenting, Mona. I truly appreciate it.

It will be some time before the hanging baskets and hummingbird feeders will be put out -- too cold here yet. But your lovely photos will tide me over until then. Have a great day!
