Yes, I am on a marathon of visiting. I visit, comment and then I visit some more.
I then go work for awhile. I'm busy STILL moving some things out to the patio and garage and trying not to think what a time I will have putting it all back together.
I get into a rut of going to certain blogs that I love and tiring out before I have gone to all those I want to visit. I MUST find a way to work more in...and so far...unless I LIVE in this chair in front of the computer... anyway...you get the point.
Does anyone have a system for visiting that might work for me?
Another thing.....and this is IMPORTANT!
Lest we forget:
Please visit SMB @ Words of Wisdom from a Smart Mouth Broad. SMB has gotten out and done something about the tradgedy in Haiti. Please, please do not tell me you are sick of hearing about this...I understand ...and yet this was of the magnitude of Katrina. Probably worse. Katrina was in a nation that could help even if it took longer than it should have by a long shot! We can redeem ourselves here. Please go read the list of SPECIALTY ITEMS that are needed. Things that many of us cannot do anything about, but perhaps someone reading her blog can. Just take a moment. Please check and if nothing else, please write and tell her where to go for these items. SmartMouthBroad @gmail.com
Hugs to you for your trouble.
My love to all of you during this month of LOVE!
Mona
Thanks for letting us know about this. I will go there right now...Christine

ReplyDeleteIt can be a time consumer, this blogging world of ours. I try to visit each of my followers at least once a week and keep up with those I follow daily. I have to set a timer or it will just zap away the hours. Ya get so darn involved in what's goin' on with everyone and I'm sure your like me a care very deeply for those in need. Yep, ya gotta get a plan girl!
ReplyDeleteYou have the best day filled will beautiful blessings from the Father!!!
Hi Mona,
ReplyDeleteYes, it is very time consuming keeping up with our blogging world. I sometimes find myself spending hours on the computer and before I know it time has slipped away and another project left undone. It is very addicting and I love it. But I do need to try and limit myself.
I love visiting your blog and each time you have a new post, I hurry right over.
Thanks for leaving a sweet comment on my blog,
you always do.
Hugs
Sissie
Hi Mona....Thanks for visiting recently! I know the feeling...sometimes it is just hard to get around to everyone. I am trying to limit my time on the computer and trying to get my neck strain feeling better. It is good to touch base with you and I hope you have been feeling well. Have a wonderful day!~Patti
ReplyDeleteOh dear, me too! I spend so much time visiting and commenting in a bunch of blogs. And I don't have a good "way" of doing it, daily. -le sigh- And am always trying to figure out the "best" way. :-(
ReplyDeleteI love to blog hop too. There is so much beauty and interesting stories out there. I just do it between everything else I am doing.I am afraid if I sit too long I might get a bigger butt:) I will check out the blog about Haiti. Thank you for that.

I try to visit my friends every morning because some post everyday. I have been doing a weekly blog and spend my week researching whatever I decide to write about; I think the teacher is coming out in me. Maybe I write too much, not sure how I should keep going at this; bottom line...I'm having fun. Love to come an visit you.
ReplyDeleteRita
It does take time reading and commenting all blogs :-) It sometimes feels like a full time job :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteWe can never hear to much about things that can help the people of Haiti! One of the worst tragedies yet!
Have a great day!
Christer.
You are such a good doo bee... and no, no special way method of visiting all blogs do I have. Seems someone is always getting left out and I don't mean to. Just not enough time for everyone. BUT, thank you for stopping by and commenting on mine... Love you!!

Thank you for keeping Haiti fresh in our minds. They need our help and if we have even half a heart, we can't forget them!
ReplyDeleteKeeping up with blogs and comments does take a good deal of time..., so just do your best. Time is one of my best arguments for removing word verification from blogs. I'd rather spend my time keeping up with the people than wasting my time on typing some nonsense word. Time is precious. (I encourage people to use "comment moderation" instead of "word verification" if they are worried about what might get posted. All those extra 10 or 20 seconds add up to a lot by the end of a week.)
Yes, it is difficult to visit everyone you want to and also new blogs. I try to limit my posting so if you want to visit me you can do so at your leisure and not miss anything. It also gives me more time to visit and not write. Don't know if this is the best way to do it or not.
ReplyDeleteHi Sweet Mona,
ReplyDeleteJust stopping in to see what you are up to. I know what you mean about the blog visiting. I need more hours in the day too. I am taking a wee break from my Algebra to squish in a few fly by visits. Next week I'll be on my new job and I think it will get a lot tougher to keep up. Sigh.
Hugs,
Dena
Just heard of the N. California earthquake. Don't know where you are located but... Are you OK, Dear One??????
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean Mona! It's so hard to keep up with everyone I want to. I think we are all in the same boat though so I think most of us understand. I don't expect anyone to read all my posts or to comment on all they do read. I try to split my time between established blog friends and new blogs that I'm just discovering. Eventually we all get around to each other. As long as people are posting we know how they are doing and can catch with a comment when somehing really strikes us. I am thinking about moving my blog list back to my main blog because I feel I keep up better with it there. Come by whenever you can but don't feel like you have to think of something to sayevery time. Just leave me a smile :) and I'll know you were there!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Dawn
I try at least once a week to visit a lot of other blogs and usually find quite a few I like very much! That is how i found yours. Because my life is already very busy I travel to blogs in the late evening or early hours of the morning while I listen to peaceful music. I "meet" so many interesting people and see pictures of them and their interests, etc.,learn new and interesting things. Often I am encouraged, uplifted, motivated to pray, or drawn to sympathize with them....and they with me. Blogging = blessing to me!
ReplyDeleteHi Mona
ReplyDeleteWow you are so busy and I love your colour scheme! Thanks for sharing the site for Hati it is truely horrendous what is happening. I also love your new blog look. You are doing a complete renovation..lol
I will have to read up all that I have missed.
SMB is a wonderful human being Mona, as we all know!
ReplyDeleteHi Mona, I don't have a system but find that I am struggling to keep up. I was just telling my husband, this morning, how much blogging has changed in the year that I have been involved. If you find a good system, please let me know.
ReplyDeleteHugs, barb ♥
Hi Mona..I'm writing this evening from the "treatment center." Ha ha. I know precisely what you're talking about. But this blogging thing is so much fun..I just can't help myself. I'm meeting so many wonderful people..YOU for one! Blessings, joy and sunshine from the Peach State, Terri
ReplyDeleteHey Mona! I've yet to find a way to keep up with everyone I'd like to visit. I wish I could find a way.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing pretty good. It' been 4 months since surgery and the past month I've felt really good. Hubby is still not doing well. Haven't wanted to blog about it. We found out he's diabetic and he is on medication now. He has some really bad days when his blood pressure shoots up. I've lost count of the number of times he's been to the ER. They can't find the reason for his blood pressure to suddenly go up the way it does.
My 35th high school reunion is in 4 months so there's plenty to keep me busy there. So....not much computer time.
I also found an old friend from years ago and we have been chatting a lot.
Hopefully after the reunion in June I'll be able to seemed more time blogging.
Love ya and big hugs!
Hi Mona, Just wanted to say hi after a long hiatus from not visiting anyone. Things are going a little better here w/ Mr. S's health. I don't feel quite as overwhelmed as I did over the past 3 weeks. Guess everyone's prayers and good thoughts are working!!! Hope all is well with you and hope to be back again soon.
ReplyDeletehugs, Sue
