~THANK HEAVENS FOR SPRAY PAINT~
I have had this bunny forever it seems. His foot was broken off and glued back on years ago. One day a few years ago I got in a mood to paint and added a few roses and buds on him. He is very heavy so I keep him on the floor or hearth. He is a favorite of mine.
I saw this in the store when I bought the black fern stand. It was an odd gray but bought it anyway and painted it. It may be white again one day..but for now..t'is black. :) I dragged in more ferns..the plants will change as I want flowers in it.
Like everyone...I am ready for Spring.

I love your bunny! I'm in the process of moving from darker colors to white. I never seem to be up with the trends. LOL

Your bunny is adorable. What great buys on the wick plant stands! They look great in black. I just realized I have a white one up in my storage loft....hmmmm. I think I might just "borrow" this idea from you!

Hi Mona! What a precious little bunny and he looks wonderful on your painted wicker stand! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
sheila ;)
So it´s You who have paited those flowers! Your really talented!
ReplyDeleteI´m a bit afraid of bunnys actully. My best friend as young hade one and it always bit when it could :-) and sometimes when I cykled to work and got high speed down the hills, wild rabbits sometimes stopped just in front of the tires. I always fell then if I tried to avoid it or cykled on it.
Christer.
TWB..
ReplyDeleteif you are an avid reader of my blog..:) then you know I have told everybody everything there is to know about me and then some things that only God knew before I began blogging.. and you also know from the "comments" that there are not six people I know well enough to pass such a thing on to. I'll answer..and put it up for grabs..but doubt you will get much action from my blog. Sorry.
Don't hate me ..ok? :)
Hugs,
Mona
Betty Jo...thank you so much for stopping by. Your new blog is lovely. The colors are so soft and pretty.
ReplyDeleteI fixed the color issue. The living room is the Shabby Chic sort of thing and the great room and kitchen is rather ..French in colors..I guess..or country..whatever. The bedroom is just ..cozy..as is the guest room. So..there ya go. Best of both worlds? Or just that I don't know what I like. :)
Mona
Christer..Bunnies are good..just not in front of cars or when they are trying to get a bite of you. Nope..not liking that either. I don't blame you one bit.
ReplyDelete:) So..you are quite the artist!! Yes..:) See you on Monday..
Mona
Penny..I got away from wicker for awhile..but will always love it. Very old fashioned looking..and the colors can always change.
ReplyDeleteSince the grout in the fireplace and the the hearth is black..I went with the black in that room. white in the living room..Isn't decorating fun?!
Hugs,
Mona
