~AND SO ON TO CHIRSTMAS..~

Where do I start..
I guess here.. at the top of the page.
It was a lovely day, but long.

.
I hope your Thanksgiving was as wonderful as mine.  If it was, then you are one happy person!
There were only 15 of us plus the baby.
Christmas the number will go up by many.

After dinner, we sat around the table and played a game.  Two teams.  Pick a name, give a hint and the team that guesses first gets a point.  It can be anyone..living or not, cartoon character..etc.
Who did I drop in the hat?  John Wayne.  (Yawn)  PH drew Justin Beiber and had to put the name back.
He didn't know WHO that was!  Made me feel better. :)
I think I've dropped way behind in my worldly knowledge...music wise and even film stars!  WHEN did that happen!
Not only that..Howard and I got the softest of chairs..our food, coffee, dessert was brought to us..and we are smiled at fondly and lots of kisses and hugs!
It was heaven.
They all were beautiful and I forgot to take my camera, and was so carried away with the whole thing that I forgot  that I can take pictures with my cell phone!
Sheesh!!!

And so on to Christmas.... (I'm so excited!)
Love,
Mona

  1. What a wonderful day! It's so nice to be waited on now and then. I try not to forget my camera, but there is always the time when I want it and it is at home. Oh well. You have your memory for your pictures. Or so I was told by my husband tonight.

Yes, Christmas will be here before we know it. I have to get moving on things.

  7. Your excitement and joy came bubbling out of your post right into my lap... we played a game like that at a couples baby shower, only the names were pinned on our backs and we had to ask questions of each person to guess who was on the back. my hubby had Tigger on his back and had no clue who Tigger is and had never heard of Pooh

  11. I didn't take my camera to family Thanksgiving. Some don't like me snapping away. -grin-

It was a lovely time, and we don't need cameras, to remember those. :-)

  13. Love your Christmas-y blog look.

    The lovely red background.

The pristine white, on which your words/photos show up.

The lovely red, which your blog name is printed in.

    All very, very pretty!

    And very, very readable!!!!!!

I'm sure you will eventually want a Header pic. But really, you can take your time. Your blog looks so, so, so pretty, as is.

Just my 2 cents worth. ,-))))

  15. Mona, I love the way you were served dessert. :) We only had 13 for Thanksgiving. We usually have way more than that. One young friend did pop in to say hello to Sierra. I only brought home turkey for a sandwich today. It sure was good. I do not bring home left-overs. Or should I say rarely. Glad your day was fun . Blessings, xoxo,Susie
