~LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT~

THIS I could not pass up. It now sits on my couch where it has found a home. You know, this "shopping" thing could become a problem if I let it!
I STILL have not figured out how to post a picture..write under it..post another, etc.
I have read all the directions that everyone has given me and I feel like an absolute dummy here. I go to POST. I click on the icon for posting a picture..I download it, I then hit "save" and then write a comment about it...but I never see where I can "MOVE" a picture around..up OR down..and comment under it??!! I have done all of the above..even hit save..nothing. WHAT on earth am I doing wrong??!! GOOD GRIEF!! This would all be so much easier if I knew what I was doing. I really AM trying...I am! I am...darn it all!!

  2. Mona... to move a photo, after you post it, just high lite all the info/writing/html and do a copy... then place your cursor where you want it and do a paste. Same thing with your writing.... Give it a try.

To post additional photos, just click the same little icon you clicked on to post the first one. Then click where it says "add another image. Once it's uploaded you will have to highlite the html and do a copy paste to place it in your post where you want it to be.

    Good luck!

  3. LOVE that pillow. I would have taken it home too. Now you are getting all kinds of instructions on writing under photos...here is what I do.

I load all the pictures I want at the very beginning of my post, from last to first in that order. Then I type above the first photo by placing my curser at the VERY TOP LEFT of the first photo and hit the enter key. That creates a space to type.

Next, I put my curser UNDER the first picture and hit the enter key. That gives you space to start typing under the first photo. Then I move my curser under the SECOND photo, hit the enter key and type...etc

  4. Hi Mona!
My computer has been giving me fits lately so I didn't get to see your sweet comment until this morning. What a wonderful way to start my day. I'm so glad you're happy with the doily and the little hanky. Thank you so much for making my day!

BTW, this pillow is beautiful! I love it. No wonder you couldn't pass it up.

I'm not very good at the picture thing, either. I can do it, but it's a little bit of a struggle. After reading the comments from Lynne, Di, and Penny, I'd have to say Yep! That's how I do it too. Although it's simple, it does't come easy to me. LOL! Keep trying, you'll get it.

  5. Mona, glad I found your blog too!
I LOVE that toile pillow. I should dig out that piece of Waverly toile I have and make some pillows for my porch this summer.
and BTW, blogger doesnt make it easy to combine pics and text. We have all had to figure it out too LOL!

  6. First that pillow is so yummy I'm drooling! Second the whole posting thing isn't as easy as most think...at least not for someone who started out blogging and had never used "cut & paste" before...so I understand your frustration. What I've found to be the easiest is to down load all of my pictures at one time....and then add the test in between...instead of downloading a picture and then trying to move them around. Just make sure that after you download each picture to hit the space bar so that there will be gaps in between to write your text. There is a way to add the spaces later but it can be confusing. Try it that way...I think you'll find it much faster and easier. Good luck!

  8. You can post up to five pictures at a time. The first of them will be the last you can see in Your blog. Outherwise I think the others has explained as good as possible and better than I can with my limitid english. The only time I can find roosters here is during easter, outherwise they are rare here.

  9. Oh Mona that is seriously cute!!!! What a score! I have such a passion for cute pillows that I've had to stop myself. I have more than any girl should but I would make room if I spied that one ;)

  10. Penny does it just the way I do. I had the same problem...I would put one picture in for the whole post. I still have to think about what order to put them in. Love the pillow!

  11. I'm way behind on my blog reading. Thank you for your sweet, sweet comments.

I've been moving things and moving things all week and weekend and have not had time to visit.

I've just now finished clearing things up in my new craft room. I don't have everything the way I want but at least everything is off the floor.
