~A PRAYER..AND A TASK COMPLETED..~

I was asked on my last post, what was written in this picture that I hung on my garden gate.  I tried to enhance it a bit so you can see.
It says:
In a
corner
of my
garden
I often go
in prayer
I feel
such
peace
and comfort,
I see
God
everywhere~

This is it.  The last piece and you can't imagine how relieved I am that it's nearly over!

The temp here today is 98 and climbing!  I got up early before heat and before the breeze came up and got it done!
No more painting for awhile.  Funny how just using a spray can kind of wears you out..but then..
I think it's the tension of making a mistake.  Choosing the wrong color..
How's that for being secure??  :)

The tiles are cleaned and polished and back in place!

...and here it is, all done.  Finally!
I couldn't be more relieved to have a project over.
The sun makes it look lighter..but the previous photo is the true color.
All done, all done,
... thank heavens I'm all done!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love,
Mona

p.s.  I'll show you the cushions when they are finished...unless they look horrible..then you can just forget it!  LOL

Dad said he was always closer to God outside than in a church.

  5. That is a gorgeous color!! I love it. I wish I could see your whole patio in person, the photos are great, but I'd bet the impact of the real thing would be terrific!

98F in CA in April??? Wow! When we lived in CA (near San Jose), we didn't even have air conditioning!! Amazing what being inland and further south can do!

  7. Good Evening Mona Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share this evening. I love, Love, LOVE that green that you chose for the patio furniture. Does it say BEAUTIFUL or what? It is so peaceful and serene in your garden area. Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous. I love seeing all the beauty that surrounds your table area. Your plants are truly happy there.

It is still a whopping 95 degrees this evening in here in the Phoenix desert. Yep, I know all about that heat. We work early in the morning or late in the evening, when it sort of (LOL) cools off.

Thank you for sharing sweetie. I can't wait to see your gorgeous cushions. I know they will be beautiful. I also love your garden prayer. It is so perfect.

Have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  8. I love, love the green color! You did an great job. I recently completed the same type project...and you're right, it wasn't fun! I actually painted two "glass" tables and 2 chairs. They turned out better than I had expected they would but I wouldn't want to have to do that same project again anytime soon!!!

  11. Oh I love the color.I actually just bought very near the same color for some garden furniture make-overs myself. ( Don't we have good taste?) There is something so invigorating about a project like this and it adds to the enjoyment of home life, and excitement about the possibilities. Who cares if in the end you aren't happy with it? Another choice of spray paint and fabric and VOILA !

  17. Thankyou for the poem - really very beautiful and adds the perfect touch to your garden. This gives you the feeling a a wonderfully calm place to think your thoughts, read, play a ukulele and entertain. I adore your colours.

  18. You have no idea how it BRIGHTS me to see a new MONA pop up on my sidebar! And the table is absolutely wonderful---just the perfect shade of green, and gorgeously "new" and vibrant.

Would that there were a "spray can" that we could just whisk across ourselves, our thoughts, our manners, our outlooks---to brighten and renew.

    Just lovely, Sweet Friend.
