I was asked on my last post, what was written in this picture that I hung on my garden gate.  I tried to enhance it a bit so you can see.
It says:
In a
of my
I often go
in prayer
I feel
and comfort,
I see

This is it.  The last piece and you can't imagine how relieved I am that it's nearly over!

The temp here today is 98 and climbing!  I got up early before heat and before the breeze came up and got it done!
No more painting for awhile.  Funny how just using a spray can kind of wears you out..but then..
I think it's the tension of making a mistake.  Choosing the wrong color..
How's that for being secure??  :)

The tiles are cleaned and polished and back in place!

...and here it is, all done.  Finally!
I couldn't be more relieved to have a project over.
The sun makes it look lighter..but the previous photo is the true color.
All done, all done,
... thank heavens I'm all done!
Have a wonderful weekend!
p.s.  I'll show you the cushions when they are finished...unless they look horrible..then you can just forget it!  LOL

  1. Mona, I think the table & chairs are very attractive. (I understand your relief at getting it done.) And 98 degrees???? Whew!

  2. I love your table and chairs - I like to get jobs done too. And I like the poem about being close to God in your garden. Love, sandie

  3. Fantastic job, I love the set! Just lovely. Oh and sometimes the best prayers are those spoken in a garden.

  4. These look great. Now that you're finished, come on over and help me!

Dad said he was always closer to God outside than in a church.

  5. That is a gorgeous color!! I love it. I wish I could see your whole patio in person, the photos are great, but I'd bet the impact of the real thing would be terrific!

98F in CA in April??? Wow! When we lived in CA (near San Jose), we didn't even have air conditioning!! Amazing what being inland and further south can do!

  6. Just awesome the apple did you and your hubs get that table on that stand?? That alone would have wore me out ha ha!! I also love your french flower stand by your slider..Have a great weekend my dear friend..Love ya..Hugs and smiles Gloria

  7. Good Evening Mona Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share this evening. I love, Love, LOVE that green that you chose for the patio furniture. Does it say BEAUTIFUL or what? It is so peaceful and serene in your garden area. Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous. I love seeing all the beauty that surrounds your table area. Your plants are truly happy there.

It is still a whopping 95 degrees this evening in here in the Phoenix desert. Yep, I know all about that heat. We work early in the morning or late in the evening, when it sort of (LOL) cools off.

Thank you for sharing sweetie. I can't wait to see your gorgeous cushions. I know they will be beautiful. I also love your garden prayer. It is so perfect.

Have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  8. I love, love the green color! You did an great job. I recently completed the same type project...and you're right, it wasn't fun! I actually painted two "glass" tables and 2 chairs. They turned out better than I had expected they would but I wouldn't want to have to do that same project again anytime soon!!!

    1. EXACTLT! It's a point then you REALLY want it over! :)

  9. Well, I LOVE it! I was expecting it to be horrible when you were describing it. It looks great! THAT is a big job. I'm thinking those cushions are going to be spectacular! xo Diana

    1. Diana..not to be toooo sure! The fabrics were honestly very, very iffy!!

  10. Oh it turned out so pretty! You really did such a nice job and I really like the color that you chose!

  11. Oh I love the color.I actually just bought very near the same color for some garden furniture make-overs myself. ( Don't we have good taste?) There is something so invigorating about a project like this and it adds to the enjoyment of home life, and excitement about the possibilities. Who cares if in the end you aren't happy with it? Another choice of spray paint and fabric and VOILA !

  12. Hi,
Wow! The table and chairs look fabulous. I love the color, and it goes beautifully with all your beautiful flowers.

  13. More balancing acts for the table. It all looks so good. Now we are W a i t i n g ..... no pressure......

  14. I do like the new color ob Your furniture! Good job!
I have to say that I hate the cold weather we're having right now, but I'm sure glad we don't have it as warm as You do :-) :-) :-)

    Have a great day!

  15. Mona, you are kidding right??? That table IS PERFECT!!!!!! Stop worrying about too many insignificant's called "character" when you do make a mistake!...:)JP

  16. Hi Miss Mona, Hi Abby,

    Hugs ♥

  17. Thankyou for the poem - really very beautiful and adds the perfect touch to your garden. This gives you the feeling a a wonderfully calm place to think your thoughts, read, play a ukulele and entertain. I adore your colours.

  18. You have no idea how it BRIGHTS me to see a new MONA pop up on my sidebar! And the table is absolutely wonderful---just the perfect shade of green, and gorgeously "new" and vibrant.

Would that there were a "spray can" that we could just whisk across ourselves, our thoughts, our manners, our outlooks---to brighten and renew.

    Just lovely, Sweet Friend.

  19. How beautiful it turned out. Now go sit on the porch with a tall glass of lemonade...98 deg whew! ....we have the heat on this morning.Take care and have a lovely weekend.

PS...I would imagine that you and Howard are hitting the garage sales about now :)

  20. It totally amazes me what ya can do with a little spray paint girl. We could sure use ya 'round the Ponderosa for sure!!! Heeehehehehe!!!

What a beautiful job you did on that table, I can't wait to see it all finished with the cushions. You'll show us....ya know ya will! :o)

I love the little quote on the print...I feel so very close to God when I'm knee deep in my flower gardens.

God bless ya beautiful Mona and enjoy your weekend sweetie!!! :O)
