Well...the story goes like this.
ONCE upon a time a little Fairy lived in this little house.. right on my tabletop..
Then one Halloween season..a TERRIBLE thing happened..
yes it did!
Terrible..
I found this on my door step one foggy night..
The moon wasn't bright..
NO..it wasn't..
The note on top of the sealed jar said.....I just CANNOT repeat it...
YOU will have to read it..
To..believe it..
WHOOOOOO ..did that...said the Owl..WHOOOO...?????
NOT I!! said the Scarecrow...
NOT I!!! said the Bat...
Well...NOT I!!! said the Cat...
HEH HEH HEH!!!!!
I am joing my bloggy friend Marty @ TABLETOP TUESDAY.
Thank you, Marty!
Hugs and love,
Mona :)
This was a fun post, Mona. Thanks. (And sorry about your sleep troubles...I think most bloggers are probably night owls, though.)
ReplyDeleteI love it, I love it, I love it! I really have to go to visit you soon!!
ReplyDeleteI just bet there's more to this story!
ReplyDeleteFor the love of heaven will you please put your stories together and send them off to a children's book publisher! Who knows, they might just catch someone's eye!
Check at the library I bet the librarian could help you search out publishers and maybe even a book or two about getting your work published! What have you got to lose?
Very cute and fun post, Mona. Love your spooky accessories!..Christine
ReplyDeleteYou are a PRECIOUS SOUL, Mona! I LOVED this beautifully illustrated tale of woe...poor little fairy! You do make life so much fun, don't you? What a WONDERFUL person/Mother/Wife and Grandmother you are!!!
ReplyDeleteHuge hug,
Des xoxo
And, ooo! You have another new (to me) picture on your side-bar...She sings for her Mother! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree with Mellodee...you MUST look into having your stories published!!! And, by that, I don't mean just idly and in passing...I mean SERIOUSLY!!! PLEASE!!!
This was super fun! What a great table top and story....I love all your creations and I think you should put them in book form. That would be sweet! Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteSo spooky and cute, Mona!
ReplyDeleteFantasically spooky. You have such a talent with decorating, Mona.
ReplyDeleteA spooky and entertaining tale with great visuals. I agree, you need to check into getting your stories out there for more people to see.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute - for some reason I just love Halloween and the colors and it is so much fun.

Such thrilling and magical Halloween decorations. Love how they come to life! Black owl is my favorite, as I'm obsessed with owls all year round. :)

Que relatos mas bonitos me gusta mucho tu blog y las fotografías gracias por compartir un beso desde España www.elhornodemaria.com
ReplyDeleteI love that big ole owl! I think your crow flew over here! heehee! Enjoy your day, sweet friend! ♥
ReplyDeleteMona -- I LOVE all your Halloween cuteness! Almost as cute as you dear friend. Love that bat!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute Mona! My GD Addison would just be freaked out at your house! She is just catching on to this witches/ghost thing.
ReplyDeleteSuch imagination you have!!
On the pumpkins....I did nothing but stack them.
Well I took them stems off of course but thats it. The french (bottom) pumpkin has a natural center dip to it and that probably helps anchor it all.
Hope that helps!
Big Hugs,
Cindy
I just found your blog and have you ever considered writing children's books? You'd be great at it! What a beautiful family you have and I bet you all have a wonderful time when you are all together. Will browse the rest of your blogspot today and see what I've been missing in the past. Any other seasonal stories and pictures?
