~A HALLOWEEN VILLAGE~

I am joining Marty for her Tabletop Tuesday.


I wanted to share this little Halloween tabletop set I bought about 30 years ago.  Made of pewter..so they say.  I have no idea really, but it's cute.  I stopped using it years ago..but this year dug it out..and decided to fix it up. 
I bought this little pewter set when my youngest was about ten...so..thirty years ago.

 It had gotten pretty banged up over the years..so this year I pulled it out and touched it up..
There is a little trick or treater and his ghostly little doggie..,

The village pub and the Mr. Pumpkin Head toasting the evening...

  The Witches Flight School...with brand new Witches using the windmill to train on...

A witch using a tree to get a boost perhaps?


Now that I have it all touched up..some new felt?  And then what?  I'll have to figure that out.!
This is a project I have wanted to get done for a long, long time.

    That is a great little Halloween village. How cool that you kept it all these years. Probably made better than any you could get nowadays. Looks brand new.

    What an adorable little scene! Right up my street(haha)! Even better when there are memories attached. Halloween decorations have only become more available here in the UK for the last 2 or 3 years. Would love to have a shopping trip in the US! Lovely post as usual. Lots of love xx AnneMarie xx

    Miss Mona, I know that little village is quite old and very precious.........but......... All those funny people trying to fly, and having pumpkins on their heads makes my legs go to jelly, I'm so scared.

    Love the little Halloween village and the touch up was so well done it isn't noticable. I'm sure you'll figure out the perfect place to display these little treasures. Enjoy your week.

    Halloween is one of my favorite things about the fall. I love that little village. I decorate all over the place for this silly holiday. Nice job on fixing it up and also having a few good memories to boot!

    Hi darling, what a treasure you have. I've never seen one as detailed as this. I'm glad you pulled it to showcase it. In all the years I've decorated bought houses for holidays, I've never purchased any for Halloween...hmmmmm going on the list of things to get..Man alive that list just keeps growing.. lol hugs ~lynne~
