I am joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. I visted Marty's blog today and she inspired me! So..thought I would give it a try.
I did my tabletop in a quilt and used my red Mosser glass, fresh flowers and filled my new red Mosser bowl with faux lemons and cherries. My most favorite colors of late!
My LARGE kitchen salt and pepper shakers...
...and my OH so red butter dish...
MY SPOONER! I spent most of my life not even having heard of a "spooner." Ah well..one can't know everything, can one?
Of course my Mosser buscuit jar!
My NEW Mosser fruit bowl that I got for Christmas from eldest son and wonderful DIL.
And...a rooster and hen. Copley to be exact. I just had to have a rooster in there! (LOVE them roosters!)
Ok. All done. That was fun! Thanks Marty, for the wonderful inspiration! I think I'm beginning to get the hang of this! And...it helped get me out of my doldrums! :)
Love and hugs,
Mona
Hello sweet lady...
ReplyDeleteOhhh what a gorgeous tabletop vignette, Mona! Of course, red is my favorite color so all of that fabulous Mosser glass is right up my alley! Hmmm...you mentioned not knowing what a spooner was...I didn't know either..until recently! Hehe! I also didn't know anything about Mosser glass until now! I have learned so much from all of you talented ladies in blogland! You have a beautiful collection going there and I love that you paired the yellow with the red...it's sooo pretty! The quilt...it just perfect with all that beautiful red glass!!! I love it!!! Thank you so much for sharing your pretties with us!
Warmest wishes,

You, in the doldrums? Well your table-top does not reflect that! Love the red and yellow, and especially the rooster. Plus, I too learned about Mosser and Spooner, sounds like a comedy team, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteG'morning, Mizz Mona..your table is so SO delightful. Of course, you might know that red is MY favorite color, too...and yellow looks so great with it. I love that you used a quilt for your table. I would LOVE to try that idea, too, if you don't mind. I can see a really neat Country Table with a quilt....I LOVE that idea.
ReplyDeleteHope your day is going to be a great one!
