A few minutes ago..was looking for a pair of scissors, forget now what I wanted to cut! Anyway, I pulled open the kitchen drawer and began digging around and THIS is what I found!!
Good Grief Gertie!
Why would anyone have this many pairs of scissors in their kitchen drawer! I need another cup of coffee...maybe some chocolate??
Hugs,
Mona
LOL! I've been there. At least they were put away together. I've got 5 or 6 pair and often can't find any! Rain here all day, good day to clean out some drawers!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Dawn
Well you could have shared with me. I lose scissors like crazy. Maybe I should start looking through my junk drawers!
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I am always doing that and then I say...Oh shoot...I should have wished for a million dollars if it's going to come true! heehee! Enjoy your afternoon! ♥
ReplyDeleteThis just cracked me up. I keep a pair in the kitchen to cut all those plastic bags, and the other day I had 3. Guess I'm too lazy to put them where they belong. lol Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteOh, Mona... you're such a cut up.....HA HA.. sorry, could not resist!
ReplyDeleteThink I have 2 or 3 pair. One in my desk, one in the junk drawer and a pair of shears in our knife holder in the kitchen. Could probably use another pair though. You know... just in case I lose one.

at least you know where yours are...mine often disappear to the dark recesses of the garage, my husband's doing. and believe me when and if they are returned they no longer cut very well. I have a pair hidden just for me but don't tell!
ReplyDeleteI have several pairs and just when I need them...the gremlins have put them away...and I can't find them.
ReplyDeleteBalisha
Ha ha ha ha! Better to find a dozen scissors than to spend the rest of the day looking for one (Like I do!!)
ReplyDeletePatricia :o)
Hey girl...I just love your header pic! Girl I wish I had that many pair of scissors! I loved your quilt on the tablescape and those Copely chickens...ohhhhhh glory I love them!! lol hope all is well for you and yours my friend...have a great week....~Picket~
ReplyDeleteAren't you just a lump of comic relief for us this afternoon and quite the little CUT~UP!!! :o) Heeeheeehe! You crack me up. Thanks sweetie, I needed a good laugh this afternoon, it's been a tough one.
ReplyDeleteYou have a fantastically blessed day and keep 'em coming!
Well you need one for plastic, one for cloth, one for veggies, one for chicken, one for pizza, so I guess you are just about right..:)
ReplyDeleteya gotta love those junk drawers.
ReplyDeleteI love scissors and never have too many.
ReplyDeleteI am always cutting something that requires a stronger tool than scissors.
Remember, I am the one who cut my hair with utilty shears.
You could make a wreath!
Well good for you! I usually only find a batch of scissors after I've made a trip to the dollar tree and bought a new batch to lose!
ReplyDeleteWhat???? lol lol You little doodlehead..you ain't right! lol It's a good thing I wasn't drinking my tea when I read your comment! lol
ReplyDeleteHow funny, Mona! Mine migrate all over the house. I searched two days for my sewing scissors...not in the basket where they should be...and they were in the kitchen drawer! Yikes! Maybe I was making a dress for the chicken! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteI think scissors just travel on their own and somehow also multiply without help. I seem to always buy new scissors whether I need to or not. LOL :o) Keep creating...
ReplyDeleteMona,
ReplyDeleteMy kitchen drawer is the ONLY place I ever look for scissors---my trusty old pair of WISS are sitting right there, every time.
(Which is more than I can say for my glasses, my keys, the books to go back to the library, my glass of tea, etc.).
Chris is the scissors-collector in the family. He has a pretty spooner in the bathroom cabinet with about ten pairs in it right now---all pretty little silver ones, manicure ones and small-blade ones and a pair of excellent barber snips. He just keeps finding them at yard sales and flea markets, and thinks the next pair will be just right for keeping his beard neat.
Lol, I hate to admit it, but I have a couple of drawers like this. My favorite pair were missing for 2 months. My daughter found them hidden in the "other" drawer.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
LOL! You are so funny, Mona, but I can relate..Christine
ReplyDeleteMy scissors are in the block, but recently I found out that I have two more additional pairs that I forgot that I had.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I had to go buy a new pair of scissors about a week ago, because they have been misplaced... somewhere. ? I really can't find them. So I will probably have a drawer like that in the near future!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have to laugh because I have them stuck all around the house and outdoors too.I do not even want to think how many. ;-)
ReplyDeletei always lose mine to whats with that i wonder
ReplyDeleteone day i looked all over the house went down to the basment to do laundry and low and behold on my hubbys work bench peg board there were 5 pairs :)
You can Never have to many scissors I say.
ReplyDeleteRita
It's hard to admit, but I will. I confess that I am a scissors hoarder. I am also a scissors snatcher. My poor sweet husband is constantly complaining that I have run off somewhere with his scissors. If I was in your home for any length of time you would not find that many scissors in your drawer. Not only do I snitch the scissors, but then I can't find them after I do. I am hopeless. Be thankful for your drawer of scissors!

Don't you just know next time you need a pair of scissors there won't be a pair in that drawer. Hope you remembered what you wanted to cut. Stella
ReplyDeleteHi Mona! Oh, this is funny! I'm always loosing my scissors! At least you found yours all in one place!!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Dear Mona Girl...
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit today my sweet friend. Seeing my father's health decline is overwhelming. But, watching his lovely face enjoy his 80th birthday was so special.
About singing and the guitar...
I did sing to my babes but not with my guitar. I sold it when Adrienne was a baby and so I just sang little melodies to them acapella. I also play the piano (not great though!) and they do remember that. Nothing like my old 6stringed friend...pure love.
You mean the world to me.
Love, Rebecca
This was my Mum's constant complaint.....One of the kids would take them and they'd be lost forever....she could never find a pair when she needed them. Along life's highway I determined I'd NEVER have that problem. One of these days I'll post my collection.... YIKES.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Spencer
