~SOME DAYS ARE NOT DOG DAYS..~

It isn't that she doesn't love me....she does. She is my shadow...until I pick up the camera..then it becomes a bit of a challenge!   She just will seldom stand still in the yard long enough for me to get a decent photo of her.
Hey!  Mele!  STOP!  I wanna take a picture of you.....

Good girl..now STAY!  No, STAY!  I MEAN IT!!

There is NOTHING there...you're faking it!

OK LADY!! You're in TROUBLE!!

Just another day in the life of Mele...
(That's a blossom from one of the fruit tree's there on her little moving butt!)

My photography is just terrible.  Not sure how to take photo's of a moving subject.
Doggone it ...WHY does she hate the camera!  Especially outside.  Huh?  Anyone?
Anyone?

So..a trip to Lowe's and I made a real dent in my outside tasks...
Monday I will show you just how much..
You are going to be SO PROUD of me!  I mean I am proud of me!!  :)

Love'n hugs.
Mona

  5. Mele is such a sweet little ball of fur full of energy and having a grand old time. I can't wait to see what you got at Lowe's and what you've done to make us proud of you. Not that you have to do anything for that. Happy Mother's day. Hugs

  6. Does your camera have a sports setting on it? And a multi-shot setting? If you used both of those and just keep clicking, at least one photo may turn out acceptable for you. Have your kids take a look at your camera and show you these settings. Hope it works better for you. xox

That is just how i feel when photographing Addison, she just never hardly stops moving.
I think the key is a camera with a faster speed.

  10. I'm thinking the word "Diva" might describe Mele! We've been working outside like crazy and it's looking good...except there's always more to do and then I think of more ways to spruce things up...then Jack gives me the "are you nuts?" look! Anyway, I'll look forward to seeing your lovely yard..today it's rainy and cold and it gives me an excuse to stay inside!

  11. Pommies are speedy little ones, aren't they! I think Mele was teasing you a little bit, too. She is such a pretty Pomeranian.

Diane mentioned the sports setting on the camera. It really does work to get shots of my speedy Pom and a constantly moving 3 yr old grandson. It even works if flowers are moving from the wind.

  12. She is just sooo stinkin' cute.
If I was that cute, I'd twist my butt all over that pretty back yard, too. :))

  13. I know exactly how you feel. Jack does the same thing - I take many, many photos of her and delete most of them. She swings her head, sees a bird or pretends to see something. However I have found the treat after photo time works best and she has clued in that if she sits still for Mommy, she's gonna get that treat. Now that the States has made us all get passports to even just go across to Calais - the Canadian border is now asking for passports when you enter Canada, and Howard would definitely require a passport to get back home. Even though we are a small town on both sides of the border, rules are rules I guess. Have fun with your company and my advice is to always have the camera in your hand and ignore Mele and then snap a picture of her when she least expects it. ha,ha Yep, "Yaya" is right - "Diva" is an appropriate way to describe your Mele. Hi Ya Howard :)

  15. See Mona she is so happy, she can't sit still. (May be a bone) on other thoughts she would probably have the dirt flying burying it.
    Hugs
