~HAVE A CHOCOLATE..PLEASE..

What to post...what to post???

Ah...chocolate is always good...in my Fall candy dish! Yes?

... and my new Welcome pumpkin I bought yesterday in a fit of ...Fall fury!

New Williams Sonoma tablecloth..deep red and luscious! See the Roosters?

And a (sort of) close up! LOVE it! My bud pj is getting it in GOLD...wait til you see it!!

See these stools?? Well..the next time you see them..they will be black. Tomorrow morning...the paint comes out...

And yesterday after lunch with my sweet daughter, Mary, we went shopping and I bought these cabbage leaves for some texture. I saw them on one of our tablescapes..but for the life of me I cannot recall which one. But to whoever it was...THANK YOU for the inspiration!

OMG!! In broad daylight one cannot hide! I nearly fainted when I saw the mass of wrinkles! But..hey..no walker or cane yet...so I'm ahead of the game! 73 is closing in for this old October babe! YIKES!

Love and hugs,
Mona

  3. The stools are going to look good in black. I think black anchors a room. And I love your welcome pumpkin. Those are my colors anyway. I love those colors so much that I painted my laundry room a burnt orange.

  8. Hi Mona, I love sharing your Halloween/autumn decorations.

If you can look so amazing in full light and so full of light then as I have always known growing into a mature and beautiful wise womanhood is a great thing. Something to never be fearful of but to do as you and live it and be joyous in it.

  12. The 70 year olds of today are not like the 70 yr olds from yesterday, are they. Such vital lives they live ... you look very nice, Mona.

  13. There is just so much inspiration!! Every time I come here, my list of things to do gets longer..!! ;0) The stools will look great black. As for the wrinkles... you don't look 73. Plus, I plan on looking like a shar-pei when I get older. Wrinkles are like little stories... memories of fun times. Although... again I say you don't look 73!! ;0)

  22. Mona, you saw those leaves on my Thrifty Treasures post back in July. I love mine! I was informed that they are NOT cabbage leaves, as I thought. Apparently, they are Collard leaves! Cabbage, collard.... We like them! huh? Love the tablecloth. I'll have to show you my new one real soon. Chocolate? Did someone say chocolate? yummmm the mouth drools at the sound of chocolate....
