Sometimes it's the friends in ones life that brings ease to one's heart. When this comes from a dear friend you have never met.. and you know she is having heartaches and stresses of her own, you have to wonder that they think of others at such times.
Such is the case with Barbara@ One Crafty Lady.
Never a day goes by that I don't thank God for the blessings of my dear blogger friends.
So many of you out there bless every day of my life.
The hours tick toward the one year anniversary of my daughters death from breast cancer...
She didn't win her battle..but many of you out there have..
When these sweet little hearts arrived..it was a reminder of the love in this world.
The tiny silver heart has the word "friends" on it...
What a wonderful word:
~Friends~
Thank you Barbara, I treasure them. And to all of you who have given me your hearts in friendship, thank you!
Love,
Mona

ReplyDeletethe hearts are really beautiful as is the sentiment from one friend to another.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely Valentine and lovely friend. It's certainly blessed MY heart, as well.

PS I just noticed---the crochet-around on one ring reminds me of those dear old silky pulls on real window-shades. I LOVE shades, and think I'll get some.

So sweet of your friend. They are beautiful and will always remind you of your sweet daughter in heaven. The anniversary will be hard. So sorry. Just know we al have our arms wrapped around you in (((((HUGS)))). You are such a sweet wonderful person.
ReplyDeleteMy sweet friend,
ReplyDeleteNo, your daughter didn't lose the battle, God wanted her with Him. Her work here was complete.
It isn't easy and it hurts, but you must remember where she is, and who she is spending all her time with. That, sweet friend, keeps us going. Be brave. Who else can I call Zelda, Zona, or Beatrice, I mean the list of names is endless. And YOU started it all.....remember? Smile.
Big hugs ♥
What a lovely gift.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss, but it is joyful knowing she is with Jesus her Creator. One day you will be reunited again. May your heart be soothed by the sweet love and peace of Jesus.

That was a very sweet thing for Barbara to do. There are a great many wonderful hearts out in our world Mona, but mostly in news, etc, we hear about the bad. I think I should start a "Good Deed" newspaper, eh. I especially like the "Pass it forward" type deed - It really works. A very special Valentine wish to you n "Mirror Guy", from way up here in the frozen north - love yas, eh :)
ReplyDeleteDear Mona,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I am so sorry to learn of your daughter's battle with cancer...we just lost my brother last November to cancer as well. My heart breaks for you...to lose a loved one is never easy. But we hold on to the promise that we will be with them again...and that they are resting comfortably with our Lord now...no more pain.
This gift...what a precious friend. Blessings come in all shapes and sizes, don't they!

Dear Mona - The little hearts are lovely. I lost my sweet mom a month ago and I know it's the kindness and care of precious friends that get us through these times. It is obvious that you are a wonderful friend yourself, and I know everyone wishes they could do something to ease your sorrow. Only time can make it easier, but friends can help. Hugs to you - Rhonda
