Company time this past week..and it was all so much fun. The only part is the getting ready. Seems when someone is coming to visit, I suddenly see every little thing, every speck of dust..I check the carpet for any spot that may have appeared that I didn't notice.
That sort of thing.
No one cares but you! I promise! Little great granddaughter didn't care one single bit.
Girls.....you gotta love them!
"You want me to wear the Santa hat? GRANDMA!!..."
(When you ask your little great granddaughter too many times to pose..and she suddenly gets a silly streak..
typical in this family!)
"How's this, Grandma?"
"This??? *giggle*"
"Ummm...*giggle*
"Ok...*giggle* can I have a cookie now?"
"This is it...just one for all that work?"
(..she didn't really say that. Well...not exactly! :)
What a joy she is!! She made us all laugh the whole afternoon!
Love'n hugs,
Mona

ReplyDeleteHi Mona - I loved this post! Your great-granddaughter is a little doll. I have five granddaughters (no greats yet) and I know how much fun they can be. The problem is they grow up way too fast. Your home looked beautiful and, even though I'm the same way, I know no one gave a thought to any dust that might have escaped your hard work. I'm so glad you got to have some fun family time. Have a blessed Christmas! Hugs - Rhonda
ReplyDeleteDon't we love these girls. We are blessed to have so many.

ReplyDeleteDear Mona - Since I haven't seen a post from you for a little while I'm thinking you're either really busy, ill, or feeling down. I just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you and praying many blessings for you and your family in the new year. Hugs - Rhonda
