I just wanna burst out singing HALLELUJAH!
I remembered just as it was getting dark that I wanted to take a few pictures of the tree's before I needed the flash.  So I grabbed my not so trusty camera and rushed out..
I have waited five long years to do this!  They now tower over the house.  All big and strong so they can hold the weight of the lights without damage.  I am SO pleased!
It had stopped raining and everything was clean and sparkly from the continual downpour all day. I loved it.
I took the first picture...not bad..but it was getting dark fast and my camera is NOT sophisticated.

Oops!  Chopped off the tops of the tree's in both shots..had to rush..night was falling FAST!

I raced around..or..rather I walked as quickly as I could here and there, trying to find a good angle to show the front.  No lights outlining the roof.  Too lazy this year...and I don't want PH on a ladder.  (shhhh..he doesn't know that!  I just said .."we don't need all that!" with great conviction AND he bought it!
Then again...maybe he just thought he had lucked out BIG time!   :)
Is every single one of my pictures out of focus..or am I going blind as well as deaf???
Oh well...
This one isn't quite as it?
I mean this one below.
I still have some tweaking to do.  More pine cones on the swag..etc. etc.

Front window of our bedroom.  The little red bench sits right in front of here.
See you all tomorrow.
All done!
G'night and have a really nice, warm, safe and cozy Sunday!  Ok?
Love'n hugs,

  12. So beautiful!

My spruce, You know the one I've had in a pot every Christmas, is too small for lights yet. But it now grows happily in my garden and I bought a cypress instead :-)

    Have a great day!

  13. Thanks for sharing your outside Christmas decorations with us. I really like them all. You did a wonderful job. Have a blessed day. Madeline

  14. Great photos and how wonderful that you can now do lights on the trees! Ya know, I get nervous when my husband goes up a ladder too. ACK. Would rather he keep both feet on the ground.

  15. Hi Mona! Oh, your trees are so beautiful all lit up with Christmas lights! I love the way your front looks too! You're still my funny friend. I love that. Hope you're doing well.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  16. I love the lights in your trees. So pretty! I still have the outside to do, but have never been able to talk hubby into lights in our trees. I finally finished, for the most part, the inside decorating late last night! Have a nice Sunday!

  17. For several years, we put lights in the cedar trees outside but this year we have not decorated so it's wonderful to see all your decos, Mona. I am really missing not having a tree this year but as we will be out of state, it was not to be...hopefully nest year will be different and better. And. Good logic used with PH and hope he doesn't see this post!

  18. :) PH doesn't read my blog, but he knows I hate having him on ladders, or to drive in heavy traffic..or to ride his bike very far..or to forget to take his cell phone with him..etc. etc. :) He knows! I hover, I know, but I have my reasons. He understands.

  19. You've been BUSY! Love the lit Redwoods!

Thank you SO much for sharing your thoughts! Your comments are very important to me.
