~SOME OF THE GREATS..~

Great Granddaughter, Emily.  This is Disney's idea of her in "cartoon"..
(makes me smile!)
Pat is my eldest son and this is he and his wife Cheryl's  Granddaughter.

These are Sandra's two oldest grandchildren, Jaden and Katie.
She adored these little guys..they are getting so big!

...and Emily again.  Taken just a few days ago at South Coast Plaza in Orange County.

Three of the seven Great Grandchildren.

You know..I think I have the "Holiday Blues" and it doesn't seem to be an easy thing to shake.
:)
I'll pull through. :)   How can I not with all the sweet support one finds here...
Thank you so much for being there for me.  I wish I could find the words to say how I feel but there just aren't any.
Love,
Mona

  3. I LOVE CHRISTMAS - Regardless of the losses in my life, I strive to enjoy every single day of my life. I have a friend that is very sick in hospital and may not see this Christmas, yet she smiles and welcomes me every time I visit. I figure we are given more time than other people, because we are still needed here - maybe its for the little things that seem insignificant, yet useful and helpful everyday - haven't figured that out yet, but I love the season love the music, love the decorating and YUMMY love the turkey. I might even shoot my own next year?
Love the photos of your litl' guyz n gals. Katie looks like her Mother, doesn't she. She sure has her smile. Hugz to you n PH. lol

  7. They are the WE of us---stepping right out there, our hearts walking around outside our bodies.

Sweetpea, you DO beat all for such consistently beautiful family. Every single one is so personable and pleasant, as well.

I hope you a splendid Thanksgiving season, and much love from all that wonderful family.

  15. Mona, I do know how you feel about the holiday season, which just seems to become more of a retail advantage each year. Now the decoys are up by Halloween, and soon maybe by July. While I am not a bah humbug person, it does seem the meaning of this special time is getting lost more each year.
You have precious and beautiful grandchildren and I know how much you treasure each one.
