Hello Mona!
ReplyDeleteI have popped on over from Alison @ Bonney Lassie (the lovely comment you left for her piqued my interest) and I'm so pleased I did!!
You sound like a truly amazing person...so full of lov and compassion...and truly joyful about life, despite the unbearable losses you've endured. I am going to be a keen follower of your blog from now on :)
It' all a matter of perspective, isn't it! You can choose to let the rain get you down or you can be happy doing other things. Good call!
ReplyDeleteHello sweet lady...
ReplyDeleteOhhh Mona...your yard is sooo pretty...sooo lush...and sooo GREEN!!! It's a sight for sore eyes, my friend! We live in a very arid part of Colorado and we are in a drought right now. We have only had two little snows so far this winter and here it is nearly January. Everything is sooo thirsty. My honey had to go out and water our trees this past weekend...just really weird for Colorado this time of the year! Anyway, I really enjoyed your beautiful yard and flowers and the sight of the rain...ahhh! I have to tell you that I took a little meander around your blog. Girlfriend, I found the most adorable bunny with the most beautiful red poinsettias and pinecones out on your porch! I LOVE IT!!! Of course, I love all sweet bunnies but yours was especially sweet with his Christmas posies!!!
Well my dear friend, thank you so much for coming by for a visit! You always...always brighten my day! I hope you know just how much your sweet and kind notes mean to me!!! Thank you, Mona! You are certainly a dearheart!!! I have so enjoyed visiting with you this past year...and look forward to what the new year holds!
Wishing you and your sweet family a blessed and Happy New Year!
Love ya,
Chari @Happy To Design
PS...by the way...I think your doll looks sooo pretty in her new Christening outfit...simply precious! I love dolls too! Thank you for sharing her with us!
What a wonderful post. Love the scenery. We are covered with ice and snow. lol
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Happy New Year. May all your expectations be filled.

We have rain, delightful wonderful rain...no snow.
ReplyDeleteI'm late getting around to some of the Outdoor Wednesday posts. It was nice to see rain instead of snow. I'm enjoying the ones that had some pretty flowers. Loved the tour around your pretty yard.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great attitude! "If you can't beat, them, join them!" You have a beautiful yard. Happy New Year, Mona!...Christine
ReplyDeleteHi Mona
ReplyDeleteJust popping by to see what's been going on here. Looks like your yard is ready for a bit of sun:)
Happy New Year my friend!
Leann
Love the ending with the Netflix movie! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteAwww, ya just make me want to curl up with a blankie with a great movie in front of the fire but baby today I'm cookin' and doin' as much ahead of time as I can for our Christmas celebration Saturday. Better late than never ya know??? Besides, what's Christmas without the whole gang together??? Just sayin'....
ReplyDeleteGod bless ya sweetie and have an extraordinary day!!!
What a pretty outdoor view you have...even in the rain. I noticed some poor confused Jonquils trying to poke up through the snow this week. Poor dears -- I'm hoping for an early spring too...guess only the groundhog knows for sure. Have a wonderful end to 2010 and start to 2011!
ReplyDeleteI would gladly change with You! How I long for warm weather and rain instead of cold and snowy like we have :-) :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day now!
Christer.
I love rain! We get lots of it some years... in the spring and summer. Other years are dry and then the lawn looks brown and sad, so I vote for RAIN.... just like your turtle.
ReplyDeleteDi
Wishing you a happy new year just in case I don't get back over to visit you by then. Hugs!
Your Outdoor Wednesday post really spoke to me, LOVED it. I am hoping some of that rain comes our way soon. Here in N FL. we really need it most especially my ferns.

Your garden is so pretty, pretty, pretty. Never mind the snow. You can have some of mine if you like? Actually, ours has gone now, just in time for my trip to Tennessee next week, fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Mona.
Blessings, Star
Hello Sweet Mona!
ReplyDeleteI think snow is much prettier than rain but it doesn't hurt the beauty of your garden any. I like your idea of staying inside all cozied up with a movie and good eats.
Thanks for the information on the basket. I love all the ideas that bloggers have given me on what to do with it. I'm glad that you have the same one and I like the way you use yours and appreciate the ideas.
I hope you have a beautiful New Year.
hugs and love,
Sissie
