~JANE AUSTEN saves the day..~
This is just a quick note to let you know how much I miss visiting and that I will be back again soon. I can't stay up too long at a time and tried to visit today but I have run out of steam. It's the weakness and constant nausea that get me down. Just please know that I am so anxious to be back and visit you all.
I am watching all the BBC works of Jane Austen and it has been a blessing! My daughter, Erin, bought the entire series for me last Christmas and this is the first chance I have had to sit and watch them. I am afraid my husband doesn't care for them. :)
I cannot imagine why?! :)
Love to all of you. I wish I had more to offer...
Mona

Oh on the one hand I do and I don't envy you. To watch Jane Austen all day, I'd love it. To have a bad bowel, not so much.
ReplyDeleteI hope your resting well and napping when you can. Let your body heal Ms. Mona!! Come back when your ready.
Be well and turn your downtime into an opportunity with catching up on resting, reading, watching movies and all the other things we are usually too busy to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHowdy Mona
ReplyDeleteBlessings of continued healing and happiness to you.
Yeah for Jane Austen !
I am so glad you have something postive and pleasant to help you as you rest.
Watch a little Jane Austen for me please :)
Remember blogland will wait on you :)
The most important thing is for you to let your body rest.
Blessings of joy to you always.
Hugs
Happy Trails
Good to hear even this little bit from you. It is just going to take some time for healing so just go with the flow. Come back from time to time so that we know things are ok. I miss you a lot and hope you feel much better really soon.

Get well, Mona.....and don't worry about a thing. This too shall pass.
ReplyDeleteThe old adage is certainly true concerning "silver linings in dark clouds". I am joyful that you have a rich entertaining diversion during your continued healing!
ReplyDeleteSending good thoughts your way! I am glad you have something to entertain you during this time!

You don't need to offer anything. You just focus on Mona right now and you'll be back quick as a wink.
ReplyDeleteHugs. Karen
Mona Dear,
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel stronger and stronger, and am also glad for you that you have this opportunity to delve so deeply and fully into Miss Jane's treasures.
I do EXACTLY that when I'm not feeling up to par---a comfy old blanket and a couple of DVD's, and it's amazing that a bit of A&E will do as much for you as R&R---I watch the Austens and Poirot and Miss Marple---things from a gentler, more sedate time and place, and they're like tea and tonic.
Feel Better!!
I was a bit worried that You had become worse again so it´s great to read from You here! Well, Jane Austen wouldn´t be my first choice to be honest :-) :-) I´m more for comedies or romantic comedies myself :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care now!
Christer.
Get well soon. :)
ReplyDeleteMake yourself priority as you recover. Nothing is more important than that. Don't feel guilty about a thing. Sending prayers your way for a speedy recovery. Karen
ReplyDeletePlease get all the r&r you can, we miss you!
ReplyDeleteHi Mona, I am still keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. You rest and do what you need to do to heal.
ReplyDeleteWe love you, sweetheart. Period!!
Big hugs, Barb
I am just catching up with everything and I am so sorry to hear that you have not been well. You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. My mom has dealt with similar things- endometrial cancer that had attached to her colon. She had a resection and colostomy bag for a while. I am happy to report she is cancer free now! I am so glad to hear that you have no tumors or cancer. Such blessings. But I also know that this sort of thing is tough and can really leave you feeling terrible. Hang in there and take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kim
When I have down time, I like to get a journal and write all the things I want to create in it. This always me to come back to the pages and build upon the ideas.
ReplyDeleteHope you are better soon.
Hi Mona,

Have a wonderful week,

I have been away too long. Mona, I am so sorry to hear you have been so ill. And relieved to know you are home and on the mend. Take plenty of time to recover, and pamper yourself lavishly. We will be here when you return. Hugs, Kathleen
ReplyDeleteTake your time and rest. Jane Austin sounds perfect for the situation. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
SMB
Oh Mona, rest and fell better soon!

Mona, I love Jane Austen, too, and have a lot of the movie videos of her books. My favorite is the BBC series of "Pride and Prejudice." I love the cast with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget "Little Women" while you're watching. The one with Susan Sarandon as Marmie and Winona Ryder as Jo has some of the most beautiful snow scenes ever. The sets and the costumes are wonderful, too. Mr. Magpie and I love it and always enjoy seeing it. It's one of those movies of which I never tire.
I am SO sorry you've been sick, and I pray that you are feeling much better soon. I have you entered for my drawing. We will draw for that some time in August when I return and hook up with my blog star, Cecelia. ;-)
Mona, sweet one, just get better. Prayers are still lifted for you. TTFN ~ Marydon
ReplyDeleteHave been away for a while and so sorry to hear about your recent illness, but glad to know it's nothing truly serious. Glad you found Jane on the BBC to keep you company.
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking of you Mona and praying hard for you to feel better very soon.
