~I DID IT ONCE AGAIN..I'm late....~

You are supposed to ...first be on time...and secondly post your pictures and then go back and link up...I didn't. This is the second time I did that. I get all hung up and nervous about signing up...anyway...

I bought these pictures about five years ago..and I still love them. There was a little shop in downtown Riverside called "Bliss" and I loved that shop. It is now gone.. "Paul De Longpre" is written down on the corner..

A closer look at one of them...they seem to go with any place I live. I have had them in a hall..over the couch...they always look wonderful.

Have a wonderful Wednesday..it is hot and lovely here in Riverside, California.

Nothin' shakin'.. smile

Mona

  5. Hi
    Those are beautiful pictures.
I really like the frames they are in.
WOW I have not thought about this in a long time but several odd years ago I had a friend ,
Whenever I was running late she would correct me and tell me I was not running late I was just short on time:)
    Have a lovely day !

Those frames are 2 die 4!

  8. Hey there cutie patootie.... The wall photos are nice... have a great shabby chic look to them. Don'tcha hate it when nice stores close their doors and go bye bye... so frustrating.

  10. The pictures are perhaps a bit to flowery for me, but I love the frames!
Hope that there are no more quakes!

  12. Better late than never, Monaness! Oh, I love these old pictures in the chippy frames! They look so homey!

Are you more calm today after the earthquake? And little Mele too? I sure hope so!

  16. Mid-Atlantic Martha...LOL..yes, me too! It's me that was shook and fell OFF the wall! :)

Domestic Designer...Thanks you so much. I know they are not for everyone...and actually they are the "chippiest" things I have.

Kimmcl...YOU are so sweet to say so! I never did get REALLY chippy.. :) but these did catch hold of me and have not let go!!

Happy To Be...Gloria...thank you and I'm glad you like the pictures...we are fine. Everyone seems to fine everywhere and that's great. You have a great day too!

Terry....I'm glad you like those pictures...and what a neat friend you had! I once had a friend in high school that to everything I said, she would say, "Imagine that!" Not long ago, over 50 years later a little book store opened near the bakery named "Imagine That" and I immediately checked to see who owned it. It wasn't her..still...

Karen....I'm glad you like the frames! They ARE different. I am so glad I am not the only one that goes into a nervous frenzy doing something like this!

Penny @ The Comforts of Home....Really?? Good! If you like them ...they stay! :)

The Blue Ridge Gal...I am pretty sure they are NOT your style at all...and so that make it even nicer that you were so nice to my frames/prints..those shabby things on my WALL! :) Thanks, Di!

Stacy...Nooot..so sure about timeless..but so far I still love them.

The Cottage by the Cranelake...Oh..now Christer...you KNOW you like flowers! Ok..not in your house...that's true! :)

Ksarra....YIPPEE! It's SO her style...now I know where they go when I am ready to get rid of them!! :) Heh heh..

Sheila...Oh..well..you know..yes..calm. Mele..well..yes..calm. But you know, Sheila..this being late or "last minute Mona" as they used to call me when I worked...has GOT to stop. I really must start planning ahead..(yeah..RIGHT!!)

Raggedy Girl...yes...a friend indeed because "no rules" is what I like to hear. I freeze like a deer in headlights when I hear "and the rules are..." :)

Gaston Studio....Jane..What with the price I paid for those silly pictures...someone ELSE is going to have to repaint them..NOT me!! I paid for those frames..NOT the prints!! For sure!

I was half a day late..and yet you commented... awww...so sweet! Thanks so much!

  17. Mona,

I just love these pictures~I could imagine having them anywhere in my home (hint: they are so me!!) And the frames are to die for, I love that look!

You are talking to the Queen of being late. I wanted to be in Tablescape and I am looking at posts and I have not given mine a single thought!! My evenings are hectic so I try to post in the morning and even then I am late! LOL!!

Have a great rest of the week, Mona!!

  19. Better late than not at all. Guess what!! I got two rooster prints and hung them in the dining room. I'm trying to get John to hang my new bird cage beside it. No bird. Real ivy plant inside instead.

  20. Blondie's Journal...LOL I will definitely keep you in mind when I am ready to pitch them! The living room stays CLOSE to shabby chic..so they fit ..at least for now! I started that Tablescape thing about noon...walked away..went back at 4, left it..finally raided the porch and yard..and it is nearly done. (I said nearly!)

Laura...I fell off my chair at that one! EXACTLY! The minute I see something is new I blanche..big time! Yikes! Nothin' to it though! I am such a coward on here!!

Patti Cakes...NEW Rooster prints?? Uh huh...see this pistola in my hand? Put 'em up and hand 'em over girlie!! Heh heh..I think this tablescape threw me over the edge here..

  23. Oh I can see why you would love these so much... I would too!! I esp love the vintage frames, they really make the paintings more gorgeous. :)

I haven't been around much lately -- don't we all get just too busy with the advent of spring?! But wanted to pop in and say "hi" and I hope you are having an eventful and happy springtime!
