I didn't do the best job photographing this room but this is a sweet little corner where the canary lives in his little cage. A place to curl up with a good book or sit and chat. There are books on the market that tell of this home where the author raised her family. The grounds are amazing.
Mona, thanks for the comment. John will be gone one year this coming February.
ReplyDeleteIt has been very hard. I feel like I lost half of me as well.
I am working very hard to get better but some days are worse than others.
I am glad you understand.

Mona, thank you for visiting. I felt like your blog was a short vacation to a gentler time. I am the oldest of 7 children and I often think of my mom and how much she must have worried about things. I will be back soon!
ReplyDeleteYour home.. oh my goodness!! A Dutch door? Woo hoo. Thanks for finding my blog and commenting.... feel comfortable to stop back any time day or night.

You have quite a knack for decorating. I was trying to comment but you must have deleted the post that I read.
