I am actually experiencing a bit of the reverse syndrome these days - not at all keen to get to the shops! Obviously, we have to eat and we need stuff, but if I don't have to go, I don't (or even when I DO have to, I often rope my poor husband into doing it for me!)

I wouldn't say you're a shopaholic in the strict sense of the word, though. Just someone who passionately loves a really great find, when you can afford it, and THAT can, and does, sometimes happen in splurges :) Especially when you are decorating!Desireehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01069419364783245762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081468613531112998.post-84103618557181082822009-02-05T21:58:00.000-08:002009-02-05T21:58:00.000-08:00Michelle...I have GOT to stop reading that book ov...Michelle...I have GOT to stop reading that book over and over. I have had it for about 25 years, same book. It is taped together with packing tape and scotch tape.
I think it is an escape book for me. And, yes, Scarlett did say "after all, tomorrow IS another day" and I sort of live by that. She was a little poop wasn't she? :) Strong though.
Thanks for stopping by. Very sweet of you.Wsprsweetly Of Cottageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17990765326246470929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081468613531112998.post-42436907739136364672009-02-03T14:58:00.000-08:002009-02-03T14:58:00.000-08:00I think you are far from a Shopaholic. Didn't Scarlett always say "tomorrow is another day" Something like that!
I like the plate:-)
MichelleBack Through Timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04248448047776759764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081468613531112998.post-67697642401832375912009-02-03T14:22:00.000-08:002009-02-03T14:22:00.000-08:00I like your thinking.... My brother in law is fighting liver cancer right now. Well I don't know if fighting it is really the correct term. He is dying. He's been w/ us 2 1/2 months since his diagnosis. He is hanging in there. He is in his mid 50's. This is not a good time for us as you are all to aware of. I'm glad you stopped by my blog. As you have noticed it is mostly very silly. I think we need a break from all the seriousness sometimes.
I will talk to you again. Oh, and I think you may be a shopaholic.Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02300213601564273147noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9081468613531112998.post-52564996389787482682009-02-03T09:48:00.000-08:002009-02-03T09:48:00.000-08:00No Your not even close to be a shopaholic! I grwe up by the ocean in Gotheburg and love old ships. The ocean is the only thing I miss from there. Nothing compares to the smell from the ocean a warm summer night and it´s even better if one can sleep in ones own sailboat :-)
Christer.The cottage by the Cranelakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521318192039394408noreply@blogger.com
