~PAPER IS ALL IN...AND SO AM I...~

I would have never believed it would take so long to empty a bathroom.
Click on the pictures to enlarge and PLEASE oh please tell me it's pretty!
(unless, of course you hate it..then just..you know...don't say anything. )
:)
The photo's are taken with only the bathroom light on..so the paper looks yellowish...it's white.
Soft white.
It had just plain pink walls before.  We still have the 1950's louvered windows..
At first PH wanted to change all of the windows....but I loved the 1950's look...

Finally, all back together again.
I have new curtains but they've only just arrived..

It's still a 1950's bathroom..and I love it.
It hurt to put nails in that lovely satiny textured wallpaper...I only put them in the center of the roses.
All of the cabinets are white and the floor is  white porcelain tiles.  The other side of the bathroom is all dressing table.  More lace there...Tons of storage in this tiny powder room.

All done..

  1. It's way more than "pretty"...it's BEAUTIFUL! So very English, 'cottagey' and ever so feminine. I love the whole effect and wish we could see more. You will definitely have to show us your new curtains, too, once they have been hung 😉

  3. Oh Mona, it looks terrific. I love it!
Love all your accessories and you did a wonderful job putting everything back. It's a lot of work. I have been cleaning out closets and it was like going shopping - found so many things and so many things went to the SA. I;m
trying to get rid of stuff.
    Good night my friend.

  9. Very pretty, delicate and sweet and very YOU!
And that is the best part . . . you dreamed it, chose it, like it and it is finished. Very, very nice "powdery like" POWDER ROOM!

  15. So Sweet! I love it Mona...it's you all over! Great way to make even a small space large with charm. Hey, the 50's look is in again, but I think it looks more romantic than 50's. Thanks for warming me up with your post!
